About ICORS

A Global Network

The International Combined Orthopaedic Research Societies (ICORS) is a global alliance of leading orthopaedic and musculoskeletal research societies dedicated to advancing discovery, fostering international collaboration, and improving musculoskeletal health worldwide. ICORS brings together researchers, clinicians, engineers, scientists, and educators from across the world to accelerate innovation spanning basic science, translational research, biomedical engineering, and clinical care. By connecting national and regional societies, ICORS creates opportunities to share knowledge, establish international partnerships, support emerging research communities, and translate scientific discoveries into improved patient outcomes. This mission reflects the organization’s founding vision to stimulate orthopaedic and musculoskeletal research, facilitate communication among member organizations, and strengthen global collaboration.

ICORS represents a worldwide community of orthopaedic research organizations spanning North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania. Together, our member societies represent thousands of investigators committed to advancing musculoskeletal science through collaboration, innovation, education, and scientific excellence. Through this international network, ICORS provides a platform for exchanging ideas, developing collaborative research initiatives, mentoring future leaders, and addressing the global challenges affecting musculoskeletal health.
